Requirements

• Xbox Series S/X.
• External Drive - Required to store your game file.
• Game (Sonic_Knuckles_wSonic3.bin) file - Follow this guide to dump your game.

Install the Sonic A.I.R. App

1. Unzip the Sonic Air.zip file.
2. Install the air_1.0.2.0_x64_Debug.msixbundle via the dev portal.
   • Install all 5 included dependencies.

Launch Sonic A.I.R

1. Choose Select File (UWP).
2. Navigate to your external drive:
   • Select your Sonic_Knuckles_wSonic3.bin
3. Restart Sonic A.I.R. to enable controller support:
   • Press the Xbox button, hover over air, press Start, and choose Quit.
   • Launch Sonic A.I.R.

Controls

• D-Pad: Character movement.
• A / B / X: Jump or spin dash (all buttons serve the same purpose).
• Hold Y: Fast-forward cutscenes.

Additional Notes

• If the game starts in a bordered window:
  1. Open Settings on your Xbox.
  2. Navigate to General > TV & display options.
  3. Go to Advanced > Video fidelity & overscan.
  4. Disable the Apps can add a border option under Overscan border.
• Mods are not supported.
• Use the left stick to move the cursor to the edge of the screen to hide it.
• Select Options from the title screen to adjust various settings, such as:
  • Enabling scanlines.
  • Changing difficulty levels.
  • Activating infinite lives.
